Meet our Design Team Members:
Marcie Krezel:
Hi all, my
name is Marcie Krezel and I am a 47 year old empty nester from South Pasadena.
I have one 22 year old son who has moved out and one 12 year old cat who
hasn't!! I have been creative all my life but I started stamping in the
early 80s and scrapbooking in the early 90s which lead me into all paper
crafting and mixed media.Crafting has a domino effect ion me and I always give
in and try something different, most recently I am taking cake decorating
and I love it!
I have been on several design teams, I teach when
I find the time I love to design new projects and I love the challenge of hard
to work with products and patterns! ! I am excited and honored to have been
chosen for this team now lets make pretty things!
Liz Marvulli:
Hi I’m Elizabeth and I am honored to be a part of the first Alhambra Camera/Snap n Scrap Design Team! Crafting is my hobby and it makes me happy. My style is sleek and colorful; make a statement without going over the top. I am obsessed with paper, love my cricut, enjoy stamping, lots of color and scrapbooking is my passion.
Lisa Chan:
I'm Lisa Chan. I am an admirer of all things glittery and sparkly. I have been scrapbooking since 2008 and is super excited to have been chosen for Alhambra Camera/Snap n' Scraps very first design team. My hobbies include reading, tabletop gaming with her friends, airsofting and collecting Gambit/Rogue comic books. In addition, I compete with my team Aces & Eights in the bi-annual MouseAdventures at Disneyland Resorts. I would like to thank my husband, Byron, for his acceptance and patience with the growing piles of glitter and scrapbook paper littering through the house.

Are you creative; want to have your work showcased at our store, Facebook page and Blog? We are looking for local Paper Crafters to be a part of our first Design Team.
The DT will serve for a term of one year. Your project(s) will be returned to you no later than two months after it is displayed in the store, posted on our Facebook page and Blog with full credit given to you, the designer. In return, you are being asked to promote your projects, on your own Facebook and/or Blog with links back to the store.
This is a volunteer position. As compensation for your time you will be provided the product to use in your project along with a 20% discount (some exclusions do apply) on all your purchases while on the team.
You will be asked to make no more than two to three projects a month and projects are due within 7 days from receipt of project. Projects must contain 80% of the product provided. Other product is allowed we just ask you provide a full list of products used when you turn your project in for display.
How to apply:
Purchase a minimum of $10 from the We R “Crazy for you” product line which consists of 12 different papers, stickers, stamps, card stock, and embellishments. Mention at the register you are applying for the DT and receive 20% off (limited to the Crazy for You product line) and an application for you to complete and return by February 28, 2013 along with your completed project(s).
If projects are not in the store 2 days prior to the deadline we will call with a friendly reminder.
If projects are not in by the due date, you will have to wait until our next DT call out.
For this try out you are being asked to make:
1. A 12 x 12 layout
2. At least one card
3. A project of your choice other than a card or layout
80% of your projects MUST contain products from the We R “Crazy for You” product line.
Even though this is a “Valentines” line show us how you can be creative, show off what you do best and think out of the box.
